Jacques Du Preez
The wine maker
Jacques comes from a family of wine makers and merchants. His family originates from medieval Belgium. The du Preez family was then among the first to plant vines in South Africa in the 17th century. Jacques graduated from Elsenburg College (South Africa) with Majors in Agriculture and Vinification. He went on to gain experience in renowned wineries in South Africa and Europe. Since he has proven his expertise on several wine judging boards during his time as chief wine maker and CEO of one of the biggest wineries in Germany. He holds a Techniker Degree from LVWO Weinsberg/ Germany.
